Back to the Daily Grind

Well, the freedom of my holidays has ended and I have re-entered the Daily Grind. It was quite a shock, really. After bing in just a relaxing, lazy mode for such a long time, it’s like a culture shock. Anywho, my freedom hath ended and all that other bad stuff that comes along with having to return back to work.

Follow Up On Wirefly Mobile

In regards to my post on Wirefly Mobile a couple of days ago, I thought I would follow up with a small amount of detail on Wirefly’s offer of free cell phones I mentioned in the previous post. Once more, like Wirefly’s eBay store, you have a wide range of phones to choose from (LG, Motorola, Nokia, Samsung etc.) and a large range of Providers (Nextel, Sprint, Verizon, T-Mobile, CIngular etc.) also. All the phones offered are either free when coupled with a new phone account, or are discounted after Rebate. Great deals for anybody living in the US; and once more as also with Wirefly’s eBay store, free shipping via FedEx is available USA-Wide.

Whats Been Going On Lately

Well, not much really. Just me trying to get back into routine and catch up with everything. I’ve nearly finished the backend for the site and then all I have to do is put the finishing touches on it and then the site will be open for a sneak preview before it goes live or it will just go totally live. Also you may have noticed there have been a few sponsored posts popping up. I am taking those posts through PayPerPost and just to let you know: my blog will never become just an advertising space. All the sponsored posts are noted so, and are in a special PPP category of their own. It is simply to generate a small amount of money for fees etc. If anybody wishes, I shall hide them from the front page and they will only show when you visit the PPP category page, just drop me a comment or an email using the email page which you can also find the link to in the top menu.

7 Gadgets You Don’t Want To Be Seen Using

The editors over at Tech E Blog have compiled a list of 7 certainly strange in every sense of the word that you never want to be seen using. Which brings me to my next question: Who would even want to buy these products. For example, theres a USB Butt Cooler and an earwax cleaner / camera. Who even wants to see the earwax in their ear unless it isn’t in there? You wonder what possesses some inventors to create some strange things and actually think that a consumer would want to buy them.

‘Black’ Google Can Save You Money

Such a simple thing can apparently save you money. According to ecoIron, ‘an all white web page uses about 74 watts to display, while an all black page uses only 59 watts’. Aboslutely Astounding. Click Here to see the full story

Backlog

Ah, what a wonderful thing backlog is. Having so many things to do in so little time. Right now my uploading of photos for my Project 365 is on hold, but I am still cotinuing to take the photos themselves, you just won’t see them for a little bit as that’s taking second priority to other things, or 4207th priority if you include everything I have to do. Anywho, back to work. Aurevoir.

Finally Home

So, here I am. Back after 2 1/2 weeks holiday; refreshed and revived. You’re probably wondering what I did (or not). I guess you could say my hoiday was eventful in some ways, and noneventful in others. I frolicked with dolphins, well, was swimming about 2 metres from a group of 13. We also managed to find a nice ‘lagoon’ if you could call it that down off a point. You had to climb down a cliff and over some rocks, and the lagoon was basically an area where there was a large space in the rocks and the ocean would wash in and out, and you could jump off some rocks. There will be photos of it in my Project 365 once I manage to update it after the many other things I have to get done. I could bore you with the many other finer details, but I said ‘bore’ for a reason. If you really want to hear them, well leave a comment and maybe you’ll score lucky.

edit: also, I forgot probably one of the low points of my holiday was when we went out for dinner and I ordered a fisherman’s catch, which was your typical array of seafood (calimari, crab, prawns etc.) and in there were 3 fish pieces, which i took a bite out of it and discovered them to be uncooked. I told one of the waitresses and she gave me a free second meal, and took the first meal off our bill, score.

Hiatus

I will be travelling to Batemans Bay tomorrow, the 3rd of January, for a short vacation and R&R for a couple of weeks, so expect me to be back and posting around the 26th (Australia Day for you Aussies) and my Project 365 will be on hold until then, although I will be taking photos, ready to upload when I arrive home. Hopefully I can keep it all in order.. Enjoy your time without me while it lasts.

Look Ma, I’m A Super Villian!

Okay, so I was invited by Paul O’Flaherty in this post on his blog to take part in the ‘Which Super Villian are You?’ Quiz. To be honest, I never bother with quizzes like this, or any other quizzes because they never really mean much to me, but since Paul stated that it’s been popping up on blogs everywhere, I figured i would jump on the bandwagon and give it a go. Just a short sidenote — I have no clue who alot of these supervillians are, especially the one I’m supposed to be.. Anywho, on with the results:

Happy New Year and Whatnot

First off, Happy New Year readers. I hope 2007 is a great year for everyone, and brings you much happiness. On a second note, I have begun my Project 365, which can be viewed by clicking here or here. Enjoy watching my year 2007 in photos, providing I don’t get lazy and lose motivation (which I quit often do) but I’m going to try extra hard for this. Your comments and views would also be appreciated as it will help to keep me motivated.
